Tax Advisory Clayston Rechtsanwälte Hamburg

Tax Advisory

Our firm provides comprehensive and practice-oriented tax advice for medium-sized companies – with a particular focus on corporate tax law and international tax law. We see ourselves as a strategic partner at the intersection of law, taxation, and business.

Medium-sized companies are increasingly facing complex tax challenges: international supply and service relationships, growing regulation, ongoing legislative changes, and more intensive audit practices by the tax authorities. We support our clients in identifying tax risks at an early stage, ensuring legal compliance, and developing economically sound solutions.

We do not view tax advice as a one-off measure, but as a continuous process. Therefore, we also support our clients in their day-to-day operations – from the tax assessment of individual business transactions to representation in tax audits and fiscal court proceedings. Our goal is to create legal certainty in structuring and to strengthen our clients’ tax positions sustainably.

Our approach is shaped by an entrepreneurial mindset: we think not only in individual tax aspects but in overall business contexts. Reliability, discretion, and a high level of personal attention are at the core of our work.

We offer medium-sized companies a long-term, trust-based partnership – with the aim of leveraging tax opportunities, minimizing risks, and safeguarding entrepreneurial freedom.

Corporate Tax Law
In the area of corporate tax law, we advise on all ongoing and structural tax matters. This includes the tax structuring and optimization of corporate structures, advice on transformations and restructurings, as well as tax support for company acquisitions, sales, and succession planning.

We place great emphasis on clear, reliable structuring concepts that are both tax-efficient and sustainable in the long term. In doing so, we always take into account corporate and accounting implications and work closely with our clients’ tax advisers and auditors – or, upon request, handle these tasks from a single source.

International Tax Law
Many medium-sized companies operate internationally today – through subsidiaries, permanent establishments, or distribution partners abroad. We assist with the tax structuring of cross-border activities, the avoidance of double taxation, and the implementation of efficient holding and financing concepts.

  • Our consulting services include in particular:
  • Tax structuring of foreign companies and joint ventures
  • Structuring of international supply and service relationships
  • Transfer pricing and documentation
  • Profit allocation for permanent establishments
  • Tax aspects of employee assignments abroad
  • Representation in mutual agreement and arbitration procedures under double taxation treaties
